Back In Action..!
It’s so great to be back out Eventing again after Lockdown. Our first event back was at Aston Le Walls where Challenge Z picked up 2nd in his BE100 Section and El Kolibri had a great spin round the Open Intermediate to finish just outside the top 10.
This past week we went to Little Downham with three horses in the Novice. My old time campaigner Aprobanta finished 2nd, Susanna Lyes pocket rocket Jana De Cavaignac finished 5th and Challenge Z stepped up to do his first Novice, finishing with a great clear XC.
Organisers have done a great job in what must have been very difficult circumstances, however the ‘New Normal’ of Eventing seems to work really well. Having bigger warm-ups helps with social distancing and having to stick to your times jumping allows things to run much smoother.
