Team Hawker are back in full swing and busy again.
The yard is buzzing with 15 horses in full work and we are finally back eventing.
We’ve upped the training again with Rhian Jones and Richard Waygood and everyone is improving all the time!
The exercises Pip provided us with during lockdown have made a huge difference to both the horses way of going and me as a rider – I can’t thank her enough for the time she invests into us all!
The gang have also attended training shows at Rectory farm which were really well run, meaning we all felt safe and comfortable while we were there!
We had a fantastic first outing to Dauntsey last week with a win, two 3rds and a 6th and as I write this we have just completed day 1 at Bicton and are coming home with two top 10 finishers. We’re back tomorrow with 4 young horses competing in the 100 and 1 in the 5yo – keep an eye on social to see how they get on!
Both events at Dauntsey and Bicton have been extremely well organised and we are all very, very happy to be back out eventing again!
