We’ve had a great month since my last blog.
I spent two days at Pips with three horses having dressage and show-jump lessons. As always Pip’s help is invaluable – we made a breakthrough on the flat which is exciting!
At Moreton Morrell we had a good day with a 2nd in the BE100, 3rd Novice and 4th BE100 all on 26 dressage scores. Dauntsey was very rainy but the two horses we took were in the top3 after dressage and ran very well to finish top10. Last weekend we headed to Calmsden where 5yo Hazy Dream finished off her season with a 2nd in the BE100 – nearly another win for her but we were just pipped! We also had top10 finishes for 6yo Stormy Bay and new ride Six For Gold in the Novice.
This weekend we are taking the younger horses to a fun ride on Saturday, and on Sunday I am going to Broadway to be groom for my working pupil Char. She is doing her second Novice.
Our season finishes at Bicton with Scoobo, Six for Gold and Quilates Primeiro Fihlo in the 2*S – fingers crossed for a good few days (and the weather stays dry!!)
